I am currently a graduate in Computer Aided Engineering and design from the University of Limerick. My Qualification is 2.1 (Level 8 B.Eng.Honors)
During my 4 years I was able to work at Depuy Orthopaedics. I spent 9 Months working in Depuy Orthopedics as part of my degree, where I was involved in CAD design on a daily basis. This required me to work closely with a team to solve problems using CAD design. For this role I had to be able to interpret drawings and create drawings for team in order for us to carry out validations and a non conformance on machinery. I was involved in a team project where my role was designing a quick release system for the batch polishing machines used in polishing femoral devices. This was needed in reducing labour time and cost so batches could be changed over more rapidly.
