I work as a Systems Engineer at Sandia National Laboratories, though my education is in Mechanical Engineering. I consider myself a practical and hands-on mechanical designer. I have worked at AHMCT and Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory where I have experience many aspects in the research and development of electromechanical systems, including: CAD, FEA, conceptual and detail design, modeling and simulation, design for manufacture/assembly, prototyping, troubleshooting, testing, and electronics selection and integration. My courses have focused on solid mechanics, dynamics, modeling and simulation of electromechanical systems. I have extensive experience modeling and simulating physical systems and with collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data. On a personal note, I have a wife, daughter, and son who are my pride and joy.
Specialties: Machine design, mechatronics, robotics, solid mechanics, classical mechanics (dynamics and statics), kinematics, modeling and simulation, energy systems, researchInteract
