        Hello everyone,
        i am mechanical design engineer and i want to find lobe pump fluid slippage by empirical formula?
        can anyone help me?

        my input data are as below:

        Pump:Lobe pump
        Rotor Type: tri-lobe
        P1= -0.03 bar (suction side/input side)
        P2= 3.5 bar (discharge side/output)
        Q= 60.00 Ltr/min
        RPM: 279 RPM
        viscocity of fluid (dynemic) = 1 C.Poise (for water)

        sleep area Detail :
        width of clearance(B)=34.70 mm
        height of clearance(t)= 0.20 mm
        length of Clarence (L)= 9.75 mm

        from the above data find out leakage fluid qty. by equation?

        Thanks in advance.

        Best Regards,
