- I currently play in three bands. I like kayaking, fishing , building electronics projects, and hiking. I am attempting to grow my own forest on my land.
I am an inventor, and prototyping specialist. I have a broad range of experience which makes me particularly suited to solving problems in product development. I have a very hands-on style. I have been a jeweler, an electronics technician, a display designer,a computer networker, and a designer at Little Tikes for 17 years.
While at LT, I did model making, engineering, testing, design, and a myriad of other tasks. I started the urethane casting operation in the model shop, built three different sound labs, and established relationships with vendors which enabled us to become proficient at integrating exciting electronics into the toys. To a great extent I taught others to take over some of these roles as well.
Since 2008, I have been consulting and freelancing with a number of clients including Hasbro, Little Tikes, Sassy Baby, Funrise Toys, Elmers Products and Balance Product Development. I am currently learning Mandarin Chinese, and would welcome the opportunity to work directly with Asian vendors.
