      Hi,

      I have a concern regarding the pump and the material of its construction for Naphtha service...

      It is an API 610 Centrifugal Pump (material is CS)

      1 - The operating temp. is 40C. & as the boiling point of Naphtha is 25C, alot of cavitation might occur
      shud i revise the material ? what is the better option.

      2 - Naptha is not a real good lubricating liquid to pump and this could cause problems for sealed applications. Is there a possibility for the usage of a seal-less pump instead ?

      (the FEED of this pump was already done...its the project stage .... )

      would appreciate the replies....

      Hmmmm, either nobody understood the question here or no one knows the answer / suggestion .....

      No petroleum plant engineers here.

      Surely you have coworkers you can ask or other installations you can look at for guidance.
