      Dear All

Can I guide a ball screw using a needle roller bearing if not how can I guide it.

I am using a 12 dia ball screw supported at both ends and a plate which slides inbetween. I want to guide a ball screw with out using a ball nut.

Basically, a ball screw is used for smooth and acurate movement, which invariably require Ball Nut.
In case you do not ant to use the later you can use brass/gun metal nut. The results as far as the efforts for their movement may not be as good but will do the job.
