      Just a word of advice ...
      Be cautious of material properties ... Websites and books are great for narrowing down your material selection but make sure you get the actual material properties from the material supplier.
      Even then be cautious ... I've had datasheets for the same material and when comparing the english, german and american datasheets they all had slightly different properties.

      That said Matweb is my favourite for polymers!
      For metals I usually head to http://www.aalco.co.uk or sometimes http://www.goodfellow.com.
