Hi, I was hoping for someone to help with the below scenario. I have a cantilevered link that is attached to a rail with two bearing as shown in the image. An applied force acts on one end of the link pushing it down a curved rail. How would I go about solving the reaction on the opposite end? For the sake of simplicity, one can ignore friction, gravity and centrifugal forces. I took moments about the bearings, but not sure this is the correct approach.
