  • calculating tooth thickness in spur gears

      i need a help in calculating correct tooth thickness for involute external spur gear

      gear data is

      No of teeth =45
      normal module =1.5
      pressure angle =20 deg
      Tip Diameter =69.800 mm
      Root Diameter =65.800 mm
      Pitch Circle Diameter(PCD) =67.5
      Distance between the pins =70.750
      Diameter of Pin =2.000mm
      Addendum Modification coefficient =0.5

      from set of engineering calculation i have done gear but toot thickness is not correctly matching with customers output

      my tooth thickness came =3.08616
      customer tooth thick = 2.9899

      please help me for this. i have not used addendum modification coefficient in calculation.if need to use how to use that?
