I'm working on isolating vibration using passive damping for a microscope. The expected disturbances for the working of the microscope is vibrations caused by the external items like AC, fans, acoustics etc. Is there anyone who has experience Working with vibration dampers. the dampers that is currently in use is air springs , any other type of dampers are more efficient than an air spring?.

The working mass is 45kg. and has no components to cause vibration by itself. The aim is to isolate external vibrations so that a microscope can work at complete rest.

Thanks for having he patience to at least read my post.
