      Applied Engineering, Inc. is looking for Design Engineers in Fargo, ND. Design Engineers at Applied have the opportunity to solve a wide variety of engineering challenges in a product development environment. The Design Engineer role is responsible for creating 3D models of parts and assemblies, performing analyses or studies, creating engineering drawings to document customer intellectual property, creating design documentation, assisting with prototype or production builds, preparing cost analysis and project schedules, presenting or demonstrating designs to customers, and working with suppliers or other Applied partners.
      In order to be successful in the Design Engineer role, applicants must possess good communication skills, the desire to work on a variety of projects, strong work ethic and integrity, and good teamwork and collaboration skills. In addition, applicants must have a B.S. Degree in Mechanical or Agricultural Engineering and 1-5 years of design experience. Experience with Pro/E, SolidWorks, Solid Edge, UG/NX, injection molded plastics, electrical systems, or die castings is also desired.
