      A Fortune 50 company located in Connecticut is looking for Design Engineers to help produce of the world's most advanced jet engines.

      This is your chance to join a company focused on the future by developing engines that provide improvements for the next generation of commercial aircraft and fifth generation fighters.

      Motivated design engineers with experience on rotating components including turbo-machinery, shafts, rotors, airfoils, compressors, turbines, bearings, and seals are being sought. Product design engineering candidates will create, modify and evolve manufacturable product designs to meet weight and cost targets within schedule.

      Major responsibilities are to integrate the requirements of the supporting disciplines (aerodynamics, performance, structures, thermal management, manufacturing and assembly, etc.) and develop hardware definition that conforms to the specified requirements for the task.

      The design engineers will work in integrated product teams, as contributors to developing conceptual, preliminary and detailed designs of engine components. They will be responsible for design configuration, analysis and trade studies, defining and balancing performance, cost, weight and producibility requirements, and
      identification of risk mitigation strategies. They will lead or participate on multi-disciplinary product teams to develop and produce new hardware, resolve supplier or customer problems, advance component technology or mechanical design methods.

      B.S. in Engineering required
      5+ years of experience in Engineering is required
