      Hello,

I want to make lead screw for my cnc machine, there is 48 steps/cycle in stepper motor and I want to make move cnc arm 1 mm per step. Please make a design for lead screws and nut to deliver to mechanical workshop.

      Thanks in advance

In CNC machines, Ball screw is used instead of lead screw. How about your machining facilities for ball screw ? Better you can order to a ball screw manufacturing company with your specification.

If you drive your lead screw directly and you want 1 mm per step, you are going to need a lead screw with a pitch of 48mm, which would need to have a huge diameter! Why do you need 1 mm per step? Probably better to use more steps and appropriate gearing.....
