One of my clients in PA is seeking a local Jr. Mechanical Engineer/Mechanical Designer to join their team. This individual will be responsible for the execution of higher level mechanical tasks as directed by a more senior mechanical engineer. These tasks will include: mechanical assembly design and fabrication of simple structure elements for the airframe integration and test of new control algorithms other basic design tasks. Key skills include: electro-mechanical assembly mechanical test Solidworks. The successful candidate will also have practical knowledge of simple control systems (e.g. PID), ability to make simple modifications to software to support changes to control algorithms, and a formal approach to integration and test of high value unique test articles. Passion for drones / aviation is a must.
