Hello everyone, i want to ask how can i calculate the gas flow rate from large diesel engines used for electricity generation and combined cycle thermal power station powered by natural gas. I know the fuel consumption. Thanks!!!
Couple of different directions to come at the problem. Fuel flow rate combined with Air Fuel ratio = air flow rate. Engine displacement X engine rpm/2* Volumetric efficiency= air flow rate. (assuming a 4 stroke engine)
