      TitanX is strengthening its Numerical Methods (NM) Group. As part of this process, we are looking for a Global Structural Dynamics Analyst. Join today a team of highly motivated engineers evolving in a challenging, well-equipped and multicultural work environment.

      ROLE
      Within his/her area of expertise, the successful candidate will:
      - lead the development and maintenance of numerical methods in line with the strategy set by the Global NM Manager together with the local Test Center Managers
      - support Advanced Engineering projects with custom FE analyses and concept recommendations
      - support Customer Development projects with standard FE analyses and design recommendations
      - support the Global Development team in its technology standardization activitie
      - plan, supervise, and when needed take part in the execution of test campaigns
      - supervise the work of others (e.g. junior analysts, interns, consultants)
      - take part in technical discussions with external partners (e.g. software vendors, customers, suppliers, universities)
      - rigorously document in English all work performed
      - be willing to work non-standard hours as required to meet committed deadlines

      The position can be located in Jamestown, NY, or Mjällby, Sweden. Permanent or temporary relocation to either of these facilities can be discussed during the assignment if desired by the candidate. Regardless primary job location, this position may require up to 20% travelling.

      QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
      - MSME or equivalent required; relevant PhD degree preferred
      - 5 to 10 years relevant industry experience in particular within the fields of random vibration analysis, harmonic analyses, and subsequent fatigue life calculations
      - proven experience planning and executing vibration tests
      - familiarity with the operating principles of a MAST
      - exposure to the following FEM techniques is desirable: homogenization, sub-modeling, super elements and modeling of standard connection types
      - exposure to the following programs is desirable: ANSA, MSC Nastran, mETA, nCode DesignLife and GlyphWorks, LMS TestLab and TecWare
      - knowledge of aluminum, steel and rubber properties
      - structured approach to problem solving
      - team player
      - effective communication skills with specialists and non-specialists alike
      - self-disciplined in meeting goals
      - fast learner
      - valid driver's license
