An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a high-tech mechatronics design company who develop hybrid powertrain technology for the automotive sector as Head of Mechanical Engineering.


We are looking for an experienced Senior Mechanical Engineer to lead the Mechanical Engineering function and head up development of technology platforms for test cell and vehicle demonstration programmes. You will be familiar with Combustion Engine Pressure Charging Technology, Automotive R&D processes, Engine Control Systems and Rotating Machine Design.

An in-depth understanding of engine performance optimisation with pressure charging systems is required and experience leading engine test and development programs. You will be familiar with creating and building key relationships with Technical Experts and presenting technical solutions to potential and existing customers. Knowledge of low-volume manufacturing processes is essential, and experience with electric machines and automotive hybrid systems will be advantageous.
