Well you are saying right that in a firm there are plenty of engineers who belongs from the different parts of the world and have their personal shortcuts to do work. But we are suffered some time with them so we also can get them understand well. As far as the experience is concerned so we have to do work these companies then we can earn the experience that what kind of things we got to learn.

I had the same problem. As far as I am concerned you will learn all the ´good stuff´ at work, while solving specific problems. You will also learn how to simplify your work progress along the way ( just dont rush it. Do it right a couple of times and then look for shortcuts ).The engineering field is to big for someone to teach everybody exactly what they need to know along their professional careers. You can take that knowledge as solid ground to start from and upgrade yourself as an engineer. Education is just the beginning... I hope I didnt scare you - if you have the will and desire to grow as an engineer you will do just fine.

One more thing - a lot of engineering is done by rule of thumb, having a certain feeling about a problem you must solve ( will work, wont work, will be problematic, can be done, cant be done...). Your older co-workers will probably have an edge over you in the beginning, because they have seen similar designs before. But that will change with time. Just listen to everyone who talks to you about these things, even if he is shouting ;)
