Hi guys, here I have a mechanical product idea which I’m sure will be in great demand in the markets. There isn’t still a product of this type using in our daily life, but one time it become a product it will be used widely, and I believe who cooperates with me and helps me bring it to production will get many benefits and earn a lots of money. These are the difficulties I have to overcome. if you guys have any suggestions? I know some guys of you have made a success bringing your product ideas into selling and earned a lot, plsssssssss give me a hand!
Hi, Do you have ready to go 3D drawings of your product design? Are you asking someone to help you do the drawing work? Are you looking for someone with experience with design, manufacturing and QC in China?
Patent - research - prototype - feed back - produce Hello, It seems to me, first and for most get a the product a patent so it doesn't get taken by another. Without a patent anyone who is anyone can use the idea free of charge and you get nothing in the process. Next you would need do lots of research on the cost of materials, companies that handle said material or materials, then a company that can mold, shape and build the materials into your product. In some cases you may be able to find all those in one. Make sure to prototype the product and get all the quality test done and get product feed back. If you need help with start up cost you can always use start up websites where you can have people invest in your product a it's early stages. If you need the product done in 3D let me know and I can help you with this.
Send some detail or morele explanation zo we can look into this. We are specialised in engineering & prototyping since 1990. Together we can solve your problem. Peter.
Hello: You have advised only that you have an idea for a usable mechanical product design. A product idea can not be considered for manufacturing without complete detailed drawings of the proposed product design. These final drawings will allow a careful review of the viability of manufacturing a quality product
Hello: You have advised only that you have an idea for a usable mechanical product design. A product idea can not be considered for manufacturing without complete detailed drawings of the proposed product design. These final drawings will allow a careful review of the viability of manufacturing a quality product and in turn, provide a look at process requirements and the subsequent cost of producing this product.
It depends on your level of capability. If you can design the product (on CAD ideally) then you just need to find one or more companies to carry out the prototyping. There are plenty of CNC shops, laser cutters & fabricators out there. Many even advertise on eBay. If not, you need to employ the services of a designer - again you should be able to find someone on line. Once you (ideally) have a prototype / proof of concept, you have three main options. 1. Start your own company to manufacture, market & sell the product. You can sub-contract the machining etc so you just have to assemble & pack which lowers your startup costs, but reduces the margin you can make. 2. Protect the idea / product (Patent, EU Registered design) then hawk it around companies you think might be interested in manufacturing / selling the product. This requires a lot of leg work - but can pay off. 3. Protect the idea then seek the services of a venture capitalist who will hopefully help you bring it to market and provide the necessary capital to make it a success - this reduces your return, but in many cases gives the best chance of success. The biggest down side is it feels (sometimes) like you've sold your soul to the devil! You often loose a lot of control over your product - and it's hard to argue with the guy paying the bills. A fourth option is something like Kickstarter which gives you the capital and a good bit of advertising - though there are plenty of risks too.
