Maybe not strictly machining but still a pretty cool video:
I would even say that this is a very cool video))
I'm afraid to guess how many hours he spent on it?
I'm not sure if I'm most impressed by his mad filing skills, or the custom wooden workholding bits he created.
The grinding bit at around 10:45 with work gloves on SOOO close to the wheel had me clenching, I have to say.
Marvelous work, skilled people earn a lot making videos like these on youtube. Also, I wonder how much could he have sold the ring for. I guess its something in 100$’s ? because that much amount of work shouldn’t be paid any thing lower.
It's got a diamond in it, and it's a unique piece. Depending on the diamond, I imagine it would be at least a few thousand dollars.
Nah I meant the ring itself, ofcourse.
Yeah, at first I thought, "Wow, those must be some expensive 'sharp' files", but I guess he just speeded/time-lapsed everything up. A lot of hours have definitely gone in that!
Did anyone see this scam suggesting you can make crystals from coal and peanut butter?
The original YouTube video has had 10s of millions of views - but apparently it was a fraud
Surprise surprise lol
I have heard of a way to make diamonds from coal, apparently by some heat and pressure treatment it can be changed because they are both purely carbon. I have no information if any of this is true. But if any one knows about this please do share. I would like to know how it works and if it works.
Ah I just watched the video about the charcoal and diamonds. Why do people get paid to put things like this on youtube. it took me a while to watch it and I didn’t want to waste that much time on it. LoL
