1.) Mechanical Designer - Produces custom structural/mechanical designs and drafts for hydraulic machinery and equipment pursuant to company products. Generates final design details of finished products as well as preliminary concept drawings for sales purposes. Participates in R D projects for new product development as well as existing product improvements. The individual will assume responsibility of the designed system during production as well as completed performance and functionality. Ability to perform and understand FEA Finite Element Analysis tests and data will be required. This position will at times require equal time in the manufacturing plant as well as the office. Additionally, the individual participates in department activities to design new products features, modify existing designs, improve production techniques, and develop test procedures. Resolves problems using solutions that involve new techniques, technologies, or concepts. Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be proficient with SolidWorks CAD software. Education/Experience: Bachelor s degree B. A. from four-year College or university; or five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. 2.) Mechanical Design Engineer Company specializes in tungsten carbide-protected wear parts for high impact, abrasion, corrosion, and supreme wear resistance. 70% of the time will be spent designing new products and 30% will be spent working on the shop floor with the manufacturing engineering group. Focus on improving these products and the life of the products. Design a product with manufacturability in mind, how the process is going to work while going through production. Required: · Minimum of two years mechanical design experience using SolidWorks. · Must have experience in a manufacturing environment, working with operators of lathes, mills, welding equipment, presses, robotics, etc., not just engineering design firm. · Must have a sense of urgency to get things done. · Experience in new product development. · Be a team player as you will be part of a team of 13 engineers. · Excellent communication and organization skills.
