Sensitive information / confidentiality You agree that information posted on the message boards or through the private messaging system does not breach confidentiality agreements with a third party. The "Mechanical Design Forum" does not accept for any breach of confidentiality agreements, breach of copyright, infringement of trademark, patents or intellectual property. Members accept full liability and responsibility for information that they post on the forum. Trolling (purposely posting messages designed solely to provoke strong reactions) will not be tolerated. Self promotion policy The "Mechanical Design Forum" is first and foremost a technical resource for its members. It is not acceptable to self-promote within the forum. It is acceptable for members to use their company logo or branding in their avatar. It is acceptable to use signatures to promote company or services offered. Links to company websites are permitted in signatures. It is not acceptable to use the forum private messaging system to spam members or solicit for business. Constant and willful pushing against the limits described herein - what some would call "almost breaking the rules" - will not be tolerated. The rules concerning self-promotion are also applicable to members who have purchased official advertisements within the forum. Although the administrators and moderators of "Mechanical Design Forum" will attempt to keep all objectionable messages off this site, it is impossible for us to review all messages. All messages express the views of the author, and neither the owners of "Mechanical Design Forum", nor vBulletin Solutions, Inc. will be held responsible for the content of any message.
