Our client, one of the world's largest consumer health companies, is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer II for a 6-month contract position. • Unigraphics NX - 5+ years • Apply principles of mold design to device component designs (parting line, shutoffs, gates): 3+ years • Apply knowledge of precision metallic design to device component designs (progressive die, laser, wire EDM, stamping): 3+ years • Utilize DFMA (design for manufacturing & assembly) principles in product design: 3+ years • Design & develop mechanisms (cams, linkages, gear trains): 5+ years • Apply GD&T to component drawings & design : 3+ years • Contribute to concept identification, selection & development: 5+ years • Create final assemblies: 3+ years • Utilize techniques and methods for getting to solutions quickly (design and/or root cause): 5+ years Experience with recent versions of NX, i.e., V6, V7 is preferred but not required.
