We are currently seeking a Mechanical Designer to work for a large technical company located in Sanborn, NY. System designs are generally made up of frames, pipe work, water management, gas management, temperature management and control systems. The designs are created in 3D with required 2D drawings based on 3D models.

The qualified candidate will be taking existing drawings and updating them. Eventually will be converting all the drawings from Inventor over to Catia. (Catia experience is not required, but highly desirable)

Requirements:

• 1-2+ years of experience using Inventor
• 1-2+ years of 3D drafting/design experience
• Worked in a team environment
• Strong communications skills are required
• Associates Degree is desirable

This is a long term contract paying between $18.00-$20.00 an hour based on experience. This position does have opportunity to become a permanent position down the line, and there is growth potential in this role.
