Responsibilities: Leading mechanical design teams in the production of drawing packages for industrial, commercial, and institutional buildings. Manage projects from design through construction. Engage with clients and develop/maintain long-lasting relationships. Direct and coordinate mechanical designs, and drawings. Direct, review, and approve project design changes. Confer with management to discuss project specifications or procedures. Review, recommend, and approve contracts and cost estimates. Provide expertise and guidance in the identification, analysis and resolution of problems. Create technical reports, documentation, calculations and sketches. Engage in meetings with clients regarding project reports and findings. Other duties relevant to the position will be assigned accordingly. REQUIREMENTS Qualifications and Requirements: Post-secondary degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. 7+ years of work experience managing mechanical projects of all sizes, preferably in the ICI industry. Client-focused and results-driven. Strong background knowledge in Mechanical Systems (HVAC/Plumbing/BAS). Demonstrated success in project delivery and the execution of project management methods. Ability to independently manage multiple activities at different locations and organize work to meet deadlines. Ability to take detailed technical information and convey that information to team members of all experience levels. Highly effective negotiation, diplomatic, and conflict resolutions skills. Strong problem identification and problem resolution skills. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Flexibility to adjust to shifting priorities and deadlines.
