Looking for a product that can generate power to charge a battery using a compressed air supply. I have a 10mm air supply and would prefer to use this instead of solar.

      Thanks

How many Watts do you need to generate? What voltage and what phase?

I haven't worked that out as yet. It will charge a small 12v battery (few Ah) to just run a few sensors periodically.

This is mostly just good natured ribbing:

      Unplug the compressor.
Plug the power supply into your battery.
      Profit

Compressor is about 1 mile away from air connection and this would be mounted for remote access as nobody will be around it. Surprised there isn't a product that exists for this application.

There are a few good examples out there if you are not looking for a high capacity generator. A simple thing like the one here would make a decent trickle charger (HERE).

The principle of that one is very good. I'm having awful trouble trying to source a complete ready to purchase product. Loads of DIY ones but I can't afford the time to develop my own. Just a miniscule trickle charge is all I need.

Maybe this company has something that would fit your specific needs.

I did a quick search and there are a bunch of patents out there covering this idea so there has to be a few companies that have items you can purchase. I seen a few small things on ebay as well. All you need is a Stirling engine and convert the air supply from the typical heated version to compressed air should work with the same principle.
