      Hello everyone,

I have to design a moldable plastic part that grips a stiff tube from the inside. So a part with a flange/lip on one end so I can slide the tube on the part from the other end. I was thinking about having a structure that flexes as I slide the tube in, and grips/contacts the tube at certain points from the inside. The radial pressure has to be enough to prevent the tube from sliding past the contacts and rotating independently, as this assembly would be mounted and connected to a motor.

I've had some ideas, like a living hinge, or spiral arms (doesn't look moldable). Any help would be appreciated !

      Thanks,
      Ankit.
