      can anyone tell me, what kind of motor i supposed to feeding material flat sheet into progressive dies..
      this motor feeding material flat sheet with roller.. my friend keep telling me you better use motor DC, it can start and stop instaneusly
      the flat sheet just have a thickness 0.3 mm and width 50 mm
      how much horsepower motor DC i use?

      You dont need much power. A sub-fractional, like 1/10 or less will do. Use it to drive a geneva indexing mechanism, and you can sync it to the press stroke. A DC will be fine as the geneva will be very tolerant of motor coast/overshoot.
