      About our client:
      Our client is a leading developer and manufacturer of a niche product line used in almost every sector of industry and electromechanical engineering. Their organization generates over $100 million in global sales, with employees located in Europe and the U.S.

      Responsibilities of Electrical/Mechanical Engineer:
      • Confirms system and product capabilities by designing feasibility and testing methods; testing properties.
      • Develops mechanical and electromechanical products by studying requirements; researching and testing manufacturing and assembly methods and materials; soliciting observations from operators.
      • Develops manufacturing processes by designing and modifying equipment for fabricating, building, assembling, and installing components.
      • Assures system and product quality by designing testing methods; testing finished- product and system capabilities; confirming fabrication, assembly, and installation processes.
      • Maintains product and company reputation by complying with government regulations.
      • After designing, development and testing, completes project by providing training on assembly to mechanics and technicians.
      • Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.
      • Influence over processes through development, troubleshooting, testing, training and manufacturing of product.
      • International travel for training and business purposes.

      Required Skills:
      • B.S. in Electrical Engineering or B.S. in Mechanical Engineering highly preferred.
      • Minimum 6 years hands-on industry experience with degree. Minimum 10 years experience without degree.
      • Must have exceptional problem solving skills and the ability to work with raw materials.
      • Highly effective communication is a must, as must be able to do process planning, write down detailed process information, and communicate those processes to the team.
      • A strong background in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering and/or Electrical Engineering, or any combination thereof, is expected.
      • Must be able to work on own in designing and developing new technology through the use of tools and test equipment provided.
      • Must have ability to efficiently provide solutions and ability to stand behind solutions and recommendations.
      • Required ability to understand mechanics behind unique assembly of product, while working collaboratively alongside team and effectively communicating with team.
      • Must have valid passport for travel to Europe within 60 days of hire.
      • Must possess proficient ability to disassemble and assemble small parts for mechanical and electronic assembly.
      • Must be authorized to work in the United States.
