The Application Engineer will report to the Chief Application Engineer and will be based in Espoo, Finland. [h=2]Your responsibilities:[/h]- Provide engineering support related to Outotec Grinding Mill products to external customers and internal customers - Work with Supply in delivering on low cost sourcing initiatives - Harmonize engineering data as needed for the manufacturing of mill components - Produce technical literature for the promoting of Grinding Mill products - Be constantly striving to seek improvement in the Grinding Mills products - Participate in design review meetings - Work with Services in order to develop and promote new products - Develop and enhance Service related technical literature in collaboration with Services - Conduct engineering investigations related to warranty claims and oversee the implementation of the agreed solution - Working in close co-operation with the various stakeholders such as the Design Engineering team [h=2] [/h][h=2]Our expectations:[/h]- Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering or related - Minimum 3 years industry experience - Strong computer skills essential - Mine site exposure and/or foundry, fabrication and machine shop experience desirable - Knowledge of design requirements for sundry systems such as pumping, hydraulics, lubrication, and pneumatics - Ability to interpret and apply various design codes and understand technical drawings - Ability to write and review technical reports - Excellent communication skills - Good written and verbal English skills - Ability to travel locally and internationally when required, up to two weeks at a time Closing date: 05.06.2012 Apply here: http://joberate.com/redirect/url/43c5-47-c4-a1-9bbaa6
