Apologies if this has been asked many times before:
I am building an assembly and wish for one of the parts to be movable. I am trying to have a cylinder move inside of a slot. Basically a peg in a slot. The slot is through the body of a thin circular objet(a circular plate). The slot is arc shaped and is at a constant radius relative to the center axis of the plate. I've tried to constrain the outside surface of the cylinder to the top surface of the slot(OD of the slot). ProE then constrains the center axis of the peg to the center axis of the circular plate. How do I constrain these so that that the peg moves inside the slot?

What version are you using ProE/Creo? Creo has a built in slot assembly parameter. I believe this was in some of the last version of ProE but I have upgraded all my machines and not not remember.

Wildfire 5. Sorry for the slow response. First response seems to have gotten caught in a new member filter.
