Our client is looking for a Mechanical Engineer to work in their Research and Development Centre in Switzerland. They are a leading developer of cameras, lenses and measurement equipment.

Task:

The main task of this position is the design and development of technically sophisticated mechatronic and opto-mechanical components and system components. The area of involvement covers the brainstorming, the concept phase, design and validation of prototypes through to production. You will be using the latest development methods to work in Internationally oriented, comprehensive development area teams.

Skills:

* Training as a development engineer (MSc, BSc, Phd) Subject: precision engineering, product design, etc.
* Several years of relevant proven professional experience
* Experience in conceptual product design and innovation processes
* Good knowledge of precision engineering technologies
* Familiar with 3D CAD, simulation and measurement and calculation tools
* Other Skills: Pro-Engineer, AutoCAD, Solid Edge, Catia, 3d Studio, Mechanical Desktop, DBWorks and SolidWorks
* Knowledge of measurement systems

Language: English but free German language courses will be provided if interested.
