Good morning all! While this is a very simple question, I've done quite a bit of research and still don't have a warm and fuzzy before starting to shell out $$ on our molds. I'm looking to have two large plastic poles slide (telescope) within each other, and lock together using a spring button. My question is, what clearance to design for to have the two poles slide within each other and not bind up, but also not have too much slop while extended. It's very important that while extended, it functions as a single long pole. Both pole lengths are 24 inches. Any suggestions? Both poles are to be PVC extruded. Thanks!
