      Lead Talent Acquisition Partner

      Principal Mechanical Engineer– Fremont, CA

      As a Principal Mechanical Engineer with Foliage you willbe a key member responsible for the specification, design and transfer tomanufacturing of custom electro-mechanical systems for Fortune 1,000 companiesthat span across a variety of industry domains and platform, specificallymedical devices. As a hands-on team lead, you will work with a talentedmultidisciplinary team to design technology-intensive systems and products.

      Independently or as a team leadresponsible for the specification, architecture, design and transfer tomanufacturing of custom electro-mechanical systems.

      • Lead mechanical system specification, architecture, design, and validation.​
      • Expert with mechanical CAD tools ( SolidWorks or Pro/ENGINEER)
      • Expertise in two or more technical specialties, i.e. optics, injection molded component design, mechanism design, robotics.
      • Expert with thermal analysis tools ( Cosmos, etc)
      • Expert with static structural analysis tools ( Cosmos etc)
      • Component selection and Bill of Materials management
      • Expert knowledge of manufacturing processes ( Machining, Casting, Sheet metal, Plastic Molding etc)
      • Vendor / Sub-contractor selection and management (Machined components, Sheet metal components)
      • Support the sales, business development, marketing and other departments technically, as required.​
      • Lead customer meeting to obtain detailed information related to project requirements
        Support project planning and estimation
      • Lead the preparation of project proposals and present information to clients
      • Lead teams of electrical, software, systems and quality engineers to achieve project deliverables.​
      • Working knowledge of medical industry standards and mechanical design for safety and EMI/EMC
      · Working knowledge of regulated developmentenvironments such as FDA, Semiconductor equipment or FAA
