We are looking for a Product Engineer specializing in Thermal Management for our client located in the Lancaster, PA area. They are a leading manufacturer of sealing systems and engineered composite materials, including a unique line of specialty papers used primarily in the automotive industry.

This Product Engineer will have:

• Expertise in materials and material properties used in heat shield and exhaust applications (Metallurgy, high temperature creep, high temperature coatings, fibrous insulation etc.)
• Proficiency with Pro-E/CREO 3D solid design, ANSYS and ABAQUS heat transfer, modal and sealing stress analysis and familiarity with UGNX, CATIA and Inventor.
• Experience with TS16949 design process, Design Failure Mode Effects Analysis, GDT and tolerance stackup.
• Familiarity with test methods used by major OEM’s to qualify and validate exhaust gasket and heat shield parts, as well as 3[SUP]rd[/SUP] part testing providers and their capabilities.

Required:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineer or equivalent
• A minimum of two years experience designing heat shield products, specifically for automotive or heavy duty OEM’s.
• Must be US Resident or Green Card Holder

Salary - $85-95K
