With the increased mobile Desk-Top phenomena that see people more and more working in shared environment like Cafe, airplane or train, the needs for increase privacy and endurance have comes to a top. For example, browsing Internet I migt have 6 to 8 hours battery life according to the brochure of my NoteBook. But launch some serious stuff like CAD, FEA, programming or Video editing and then that "6 to 8" switch down to "One to Two". IN real life, access to a wired power line can be cumbersome and with the increased price of Energy, plugs are more and more rare in café (don't ask me about the Bien fondé of that!). We, at SRDFMC Conseil, believe that we have reached a peak in that momentum. More and more, self carried power sources and a feel for comfort in Privacy will be the basis in the requirement of your own Private/Professional mobile computer. Take into account the opposing tendency of the General consumer products that ask for Smallers/lighters Smartphones and tablets, and their is a shift in that momentum. Another demo for FEA / CAE and Simulation Professional: CAD is not anymore only the 3D modelling of an object on a screen. It's also the simulation of its usage, the refining of its design through a detailed assessment of its intended usage, tailored and measured. It's about giving a virtual life to an object that can be monitored, tested and improved even before the first cut of gram or an inch of expensive material. Modelling and Mechanically simulating body parts can be challenging. Mechanical properties are at the corner of FEA capabilities and methodologies for industrial application are at their infancy. A lot still belongs to the laboratory or stays out of reach from entrepreneurs and Small industries. SRDFMC Conseil is proud to unveil a solution: we called it Vi. T. A. for Virtual Test Artifact.
