      Hey,

I'm designing a simple electronics enclosure and am stuck choosing fasteners. I've always designed things with threaded heat inserts for machine screws, but that is overkill for this project.

The holes on the PCB are 3.2 mm in diameter. My wall thickness is 1.2 mm on the bosses (is this too thin?)

What rules of thumb do you guys use when selecting screws like this? I'm looking at these three options:

      McMaster 96817A910 < I like this because it's metric
      McMaster 95893A215
      McMaster 94629A550

I agree with your preferred choice. The Delta PT thread form works very well in thin screw bosses. The have a good range between drive torque and stripping torque.
