Title: Senior Thermal Engineer - Salary to $110k - Indianapolis, IN - send resume to [email protected] Role: Develop thermal management system designs for a wide range of battery system products and applications in the Utility, Transportation, and industrial OEM sectors. Support Operations and Sales as the thermal management systems expert in developing quotes to meet customer needs and in meetings with customers. This position requires excellent technical analysis and documentation skills, the ability to communicate effectively in cross-functional teams, and the ability to interface effectively with customers to ensure that system requirements are realized in the final product. Training and Skills: To perform in this position successfully, an individual must have: â€¢ BSME or MSME + 5 years Thermal Engineering experience in a military, automotive, industrial OEM, or other complex system product development environment â€¢ High level of experience and skill using FEA and CFD tools for analysis of heat transfer problems â€¢ High level of experience and skill at writing detailed technical reports â€¢ Proven ability to work with cross-functional teams to develop thermal management solutions for products â€¢ Broad knowledge and experience evaluating thermal management system design alternatives â€¢ Broad knowledge and experience selecting components for thermal management systems â€¢ High level of skills in providing technical support for Marketing and Sales â€¢ Ability to work independently â€¢ Experience with thermal management of battery systems is a plus.
