      Hey There!

Would you guys help me in how to calculate the applied torque for a slewing drive, if I know the diameter of the bearing and the axial force? How can I design a motor to carry and rotate the applied load safely?

      Thanks,
      Mohammad Kilani

My I suggest a simple sketch with applied loads and dimensions as a start?
What type of slewing bearing are you proposing, plain lubricated, ball, roller needle roller?
