      Senior Valve Designer, Engineering Design Manager £35-40k + Excellent Benefits

      Mechanical Design Engineer or Engineering Design Manager required to produce concept designs for the subsea valve industry. The right candidate will have experience of 3D CAD packages such as Solidworks or Pro-Engineer as well as experience of designing fluid handling solutions such as Valves, Pumps, Couplings or Seals.

      The company are leaders in the design and manufacture of valves and accessories for hazardous, corrosive and subsea environments. They have an international presence and supply into many of the largest Blue Chip clients in the Oil and Gas industry. They have a reputation for developing their staff and are second to none when it comes to external and internal training.

      The role itself is focused around the conceptual mechanical design of a range of vales for the subsea oil and gas market. You will join a growing and very technical strong team in the development of new valve solutions to enhance the company’s existing portfolio. Any knowledge of other fluid handling solutions such as Valves, Pumps and Couplings would be advantageous but is not required.

      The ideal candidate will have experience and knowledge in the following areas:

      3D Mechanical Design of engineering components. Ideally Valves, Pumps, Couplings or Seals.
      Conceptual design and NPD
      Working in a project team designing to client specifications
      Experience of a 3D CAD package such as Solidworks, Pro-E, Inventor, AutoCAD.
      A relevant engineering qualification such as a Degree in Mechanical Engineering is preferred but not required.
