I'm trying the attached animation but several times during calculation or playing the animation, the shell feature poof on and off (notice the change in color as well as the thickness). Can anyone comment as what can be the reason. I'm just stuck with it.

Just reviewed the assembly once again and found it was due to some fillet issue. Thanks
