      Technology's just great. All us mech engineers love the stuff, don't we? However something comes up now and then then sounds pretty nasty.

      Let's share examples of technology (or applications of it) that we really don't want.

      I'll start with a couple of things:

      1) Edible RFID tags in food
      2) Microwave weaponary

      I disagree with Charles about eugenics, and wind turbines. Here's a twist on the eugenics thing though...I think we should be trying to breed people who are small and smart.
      As for bad technology gas "fracking" is bad...as are video games for toddlers.
