Hello, I am trying to insert some text along a curve (circle) in Inventor 11 but I don't find the way to do it. I've found that in the recent version of the Inventor there is an option to model the text in a radius but not in the 11... Any ideas??? Thank you!
Ver 11 was a while ago, (like 6 versions - on 2012 now) but if I remember correctly the both decal feature (for text only on a curved surface) and the emboss feature for 3d text worked very well. Sorry, I don't have any books on 11 anymore. Source
Hi, I have no exact answer of your Question. Still I have some steps how to Create Curved Text in Autodesk Inventor, you can follow here: 1.Create an arc normally as if it were part of your drawing. 2.Click the "Sketch" tab, then the "Draw" panel and then "Geometry Text." 3.Select the arc to which you want the text to align. The Geometry Text dialog box appears. 4.Enter the text you want and make any formatting modifications using the tools in the dialog box. 5.Click "Update" to make the text appear in the sketch. If you're happy with it, click "OK," or click "Select" to select another arc to create more curved text. I hope this information help for you!.....Have A great Day.
