I would like to know what's the adviced width for a timing belt on a gantry table for linear transmition, the used motor is rated at a torque of 12 NM that would be placed on a 3:1 gear. I know that it will depend on the material of timing belt and manufactuerer, but I would like to know your advice or an approximative value and how you calculate it, also what's the adviced material.

I think about 4cm T5 PU steel reinforced timing belt, would it fit.

      Thanks.
