Hi, I am new here and i want to ask if there is a turbo charger design used by marine vessels that has no nozzle ring?

I worked in a Ship repair company's turbocharger department. I have seen the old models of turbochargers from different OEM's like Mitsubishi, Napier, MAN, ABB etc. They all had turbine with a fixed blade pitch and they were fitted with a nozzle. I heard the OEM's had a latest model with variable pitch turbine which might not have nozzle. I have not come across any of these but the nozzles were a problem in the old designs which might have been omitted in the latest ones
