      Hi

Can somebody please help me with the turning mechanism used in scoping devices.
The one that is used with the device in the video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OrL12vyHous
I am just trying to design something like this turning mechanism.

      Thanks in advance,
      Suresh.

Is this turning mechanism used to focus the scope? If so, a simple threaded fitting is all you need. A very fine thread will adjust the focal length from the front and rear lens.

      Thanks telecomguy...
It is not actually like the zoom thing that we see in telescopes...

it is just like two tubes of same size connected, but they turn independent to each other...
