I have a friend who's neighbour imported plain white t-shirts. He stuck different logos on the same t-shirts and sold one set for £100 each and the other just a fraction of the price. I am not convinced that buying branded goods always results in better quality. Its all in the mind - a marketing ploy.

      Yeah, definitely.
I do have a few technical pieces of clothing for outdoor stuff that are worth the money to me (love Merino Wool!) but often branded clothing is way overpriced for quality difference.

I always prefer buying from local cloth companies. I find them usually cheaper than others. Most of them are branded though. I mean if it’s a t-shirt it doesn’t matter but pants I usually get the expensive ones. Most expensive would be the shoes, I always buy very high quality trekking shoes or leather shoes, and I feel sad when they get damaged.

I read an article recently about protecting branded domain names around the world. It is a lot easier than many people assume!

There is a system which gives holders of a trademarked name the chance to buy domain names before new TLDs are made available to the public. Even if someone has taken your trademarked name you can still get it back through ICANN although it might take a while!
