1. Nuts, bolts, pretty much everything: McMaster, Grainger, MSCDirect 2. Tooling & fixture components: Carr-Lane 3. Machine tools: Iscar, kennametal, see #1 4. Automation stuff: Misumi, see #1 5. Metal bar stock: onlinemetals.com, see #1 That's all I can think of for the moment, but there are a lot more that I go to for specific stuff.
Hi Kaar, Let's have a look on online catalog page powered by Cadenas, you can find hundred of manufacturers
I also use Misumi for automation, press dies and plastic mold. Misumi provide CAD data so that it is more effective in design. For the special part, I prefer to use ACME for precision part, THK for linear bushing, NSK for ball screw etc. But for standard parts available in CAD programs (SolidWorks) such as gear, bearing, bolt, nut, etc., it's more effective if we use solidworks library.

We tried to buy some screws from Mcmaster webiste, however they told us they will not sell to overseas directly.
Great info above! For quick release fasteners I would suggest Protex latches and Ojop latches: https://www.ojopsweden.com/toggle-latches/
