Ok, first of all, it’s an absolute shame that Revit doesn’t support this functionality on its own. I mean, why would AutoDesk leave out such a valuable feature from a pro-grade software tool? I really don’t understand them some times. Now, to their defense, they do offer a list of software products that are known to work well for this purpose, and they are:

• BlueBeam Revu Cad
  
  
• 3D PDF Maker for Autodesk Revit
  
  
• 3D PDF Converter for Autodesk® Revit®
  
  
• 3DPDF Exporter for Autodesk® Revit®
  
  
• SOFiSTiK 3D-PDF Export

Sorry, this isn't answering your question but I see Revit jobs advertised all the time - what is it and what's the main use?
Is it mainly used for architecture?
